How I Have Got Admitted Into GA Tech OMSCS Program?

Disclaimer: I can’t guarantee this will get you accepted for the Online Masters Computer Science (OMSCS) program. I can only speak for myself, what helped me to be admitted at this program in GA Tech. This is not legal advice. You should take this with a grain of salt.
The steps you could follow to complete your Online Masters Computer Science (OMSCS) application.
Read the instructions
I read the instructions from their websites, I looked at what they are looking for, they wanted me to be very specific and to the point. What they are looking for? They provided additional application guideline, which was extremely helpful. This is not the place to ramble, you can do that in FB or other social media. Check out the reddit page, it is an useful resources as well.
Give them strong recommendation letters
For example, they asked for technical recommendation, do give them that. Please do not give them your McDonalds manager’s recommendation, they will not take it seriously. From someone who technically knows you, so I gave them two college professors whom they know me well. I can only suspect, they gave me good recommendations, that’s how I got accepted. Ask for people who will give you outstanding recommendation letters.
Write strong Statement of Purpose (SoP)
Writing the SoP or the essay, I shared my full SoP that got me into OMSCS in another blog. But what to remember they specifically ask for technicality experiences. You could write about your college or work experiences. They want to see, why you are a good fit for this program. Think of like interviews they want to see if you are a good fit for this program. So write to the point and write it clearly, and communicate effectively. Write the best writing you ever wrote in your life.
Edit, edit & edit the SoP
I edited the SoP at least ten times, here is the link to it. I am a listener, so I listened to it many times. Judge yourself, before they judge you. If you were to grade your SoP with the rubric they give on their website, what grade would you give? Have someone else read it for you. Finally, please talk about technical competencies, not about your video game skills.
Give relevant project examples
They also asked to give examples of projects, a short description of projects, I gave them exactly to the point answers. I think I had great titles and explanations. I talked about my blog and my personal websites and leetcode problems solutions. Remember the more useful information you give them the better it is. I gave them my Github orofile links, which shows them, I am a developer and I take this seriously. You could create a free WordPress blog, write a couple posts, this helps you stand out.
Why are you a good fit for this program?
They ask why this program would be a good fit for you? So I gave them concrete answers about that as well. Find what interests you. The more specific the better it is for you. I talked about my robotics projects I did at my college. I initially chose robotics but I will change that to Machine Learning specialization.
The closing notes
Remember, they are looking to admit you to the program, it increases their revenue. They read tons of applications as well, make their job easier. They are busy with their own problems, they won’t search you in google. They will only read what you give them. Write that you are extremely interested in this program. Use buzz words such as, excited, motivated, thrilled, awesome, great, positive, overcome challenges.
